A Visual Poem of Sunrises and Sunsets
Love in Light
A visual poem of sunrises and sunsets—a love shaped by light and undone by time.
Sky, color, touch, and timing carry the full story, from first light to afterglow.

Story of the art
Love in Light unfolds as a twelve-painting cycle told through sky, color, touch, and timing. It moves from first light to final shadow, not as plot-heavy storytelling, but as emotional weather: anticipation, brightness, fracture, memory, and afterglow.
What gives the collection its force is restraint. Names disappear. Dialogue disappears. What remains is light itself—arriving, changing, leaving, and revealing what the figures cannot quite hold onto.
This is not a story about happily ever after. It is a story about what light reveals before it leaves.

Featured work
The First Light Found Us Still Holding On
Wrapped in blankets on a rooftop, two figures remain suspended in the last hush before morning. Dawn arrives anyway. The painting holds tenderness and change at the same time.
Why collectors connect
The collection is legible without being literal. Viewers enter through color and atmosphere first, then discover the deeper ache inside the scene.
Because the cycle is structured across changing light, the paintings hold together as a sequence while still living strongly as individual works.
Visual language
- Sunrise, midday, sunset, dusk, and afterglow as narrative structure
- Names and dialogue removed so sky, color, and timing carry the story
- Touch, distance, and shadow treated as emotional punctuation
- A cycle meant to be read as both sequence and standalone works
Artist perspective
“Each painting is a heartbeat. A truth. A letting go.”
“I’m interested in what remains luminous even as something begins to slip away.”
“Light is not just the setting here. It is the emotional architecture of the story.”
